EUPATI is thrilled to announce our partnership with INNODIA

Together, we’re joining forces to empower patients and revolutionise Type 1 diabetes treatment.

INNODIA is a non-profit organization with the largest European network dedicated to preventing and curing Type 1 diabetes, serving as the interface between entities developing new therapies and those with the expertise to implement them. By uniting academic researchers, scientists, industry partners, and patients, INNODIA accelerates the development of disease-modifying therapies and fosters patient-centric approaches to improve the lives of those affected by Type 1 diabetes.

By combining EUPATI’s expertise in patient education with INNODIA’s leadership in uniting stakeholders to prevent and cure Type 1 Diabetes, we aim to enhance knowledgeable patient involvement in the development of disease-modifying therapies.

“At INNODIA, we firmly believe that equipping patients with essential knowledge is fundamental to driving advancements in groundbreaking treatments for Type 1 Diabetes. This partnership with EUPATI represents an important step in putting patients at the heart of innovation, and we’re excited about the positive impact we can achieve together” Manuela Battaglia, Managing director of INNODIA.

‘’EUPATI is proud to share a common origin with INNODIA as an IMI project (now IHI) and we are thrilled to embark on this new partnership. Together, we aim to elevate patient education particularly through initiatives like the INNODIA People Living with Type 1 Diabetes Community (INPACT). INNODIA’s extensive network and commitment to amplifying the patient voice – especially by equipping patients through tailored training programs and involving them in advisory teams for medicine developers – will be pivotal. This collaboration represents an exciting opportunity to combine our strengths and advance meaningful capacity-building for patients and advocates alike. Looking forward to this inspiring partnership and how we’ll be working together to make a difference!‘‘ Maria Dutarte, EUPATI Executive Director

Our shared goal? To drive forward patient-centered approaches that not only improve diabetes management but also bring us closer to life-changing breakthroughs for people living with T1D.

Looking forward to this inspiring partnership and the meaningful difference we will make together!
