EUPATI’s journey highlighted in publication

EUPATI is delighted to have contributed to a chapter to the newly published book 𝘐𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘌𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 – 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘔𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴, edited by Jeff Wilkesmann, Deggendorf Institute of Technology (formerly EIT Health).

Our chapter, “𝘌𝘜𝘗𝘈𝘛𝘐’𝘴 𝘑𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘌𝘯𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯” (Chapter 7), shares insights from our experience in driving patient involvement through education and training.

EUPATI is excited to contribute with a perspective to this new publication on Innovation and Entrepreneurship within Health Education. EUPATI’s journey toward enhancing patient involvement through education is unique. It demonstrates the roles that education and training can play in bringing about change, enabling cross-stakeholder collaboration and creating opportunities for engagement through acquired knowledge, skills and capabilities. We see that EUPATI’s success story can serve as an inspirational example for other sectors aiming to involve citizens and civil society actors, using education as a tool to find a common language for meaningful dialogue.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the members of the EUPATI network who contributed to making this possible.
