We are delighted to share that EUPATI’s “Catalysing Change” report which evaluates EUPATI’s Learning Lab Fundamentals and Essentials Module 1 training programmes from 2019 – 2024 is now available. A survey of 10 professionals from an approximate pool of 200 participants found that 90% have applied their learnings in practice and feel the training has made or will make an impact in their work.
Participants reported increased confidence in their knowledge and skills on patient involvement, greater use of structured patient involvement methods, and practical application of the EUPATI Patient Involvement Roadmap. While the small sample size limits the scope of conclusions, the overall feedback is positive, with 70% agreeing the training was worth the investment.
Future evaluations will aim for broader participation to ensure more representative findings, particularly as the Fundamentals programme transitions to a blended learning format and Essentials Module 2 gains traction.

Read our latest testimonial from a recent participant of Essentials Module 2 focusing on working and communicating with patients from various cultural backgrounds:
“Just completed a truly eye-opening training session on “Collaborating with patients across cultures”. It was an incredible reminder of how much nuance there is in global collaboration. It has definitely challenged my perspective and given me a clear roadmap for how I can adapt my own approach to better support diverse communities” Silvia Carter, CareRing Community Leader, Roche.
